Minidisc Transfer


We professionally transfer mini discs to digital format files and CD utilising the very latest mini disc transfer technology.

We can transfer regular and long play recorded minidiscs.

All our mini disc transfer procedures are undertaken in-house at our studios by true vintage audio media enthusiasts.

Mini Disc to Computer Files


We can convert minidiscs to WAV (for Windows), AIFF (for MAC) or MP3. Each minidisc will be saved as an individual audio file, or if you order our track separation service, a single file for each individual track on the minidisc. The files will be ready to play on your computer or laptop, are ideal for storage, and for importing into your computer editing software.

The digital files are supplied to you on CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, memory stick or card.

Mini Disc to CD


The CD will be ready to play on your CD player or computer, and if you order our track separation service, can feature a single track for each individual track on the minidisc. Each CD can accomodate up to one hour and twenty minutes.


How We Transfer Mini Discs


We use professional minidisc decks, and constantly monitor the minidisc transfer as it progresses. This enables us to make adjustments if required.


Competitive Prices

Wether you choose CD or computer files, the same low price applies. Each minidisc is £15.00 for the first hour, plus £10.00 for each additional hour if present.

For option of track separation, add £10.00 for the first hour, plus £5.00 for each additional hour if present.

With over 35 years experience of audio restoration and conversion, our family business was born out of a passion for vintage film and tape formats, and the equipment that was used to create and play them.

Sony's minidisc format was introduced in the 90's, but had little up-take, attracting only a small but loyal customer base. We have been copying minidiscs and archiving them to more convenient and secure digital formats ever since the recordable CD was introduced

Technology has moved on in leaps and bounds over the years, and we have always invested in the latest technology to ensure our customers receive the highest quality audio transfer possible.

Handling and working with delicate audio media demands experience, patience and care. All our minidisc conversion procedures are carefully performed by us 'in house' at our studios.
